Description

Clinton Public Schools is actively seeking a highly qualified and visionary educational leader to serve as Assistant Superintendent. This pivotal role will be instrumental in supporting the district's mission to provide a quality education that empowers every student to reach their full potential.

Required Qualifications A Master's degree in Educational Administration or a related field from an accredited institution.
A valid Oklahoma Superintendent's certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
A proven track record of successful experience as a school administrator, preferably at the district level.
A deep understanding of curriculum development, instructional best practices, and educational technology.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
A commitment to fostering a collaborative and innovative school culture.
Preferred Qualifications The Assistant Superintendent will play a crucial role in the district's success, with responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
Curriculum and Instruction: Providing leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of a rigorous and engaging curriculum across all grade levels. This includes overseeing instructional strategies, assessment programs, and professional development for certified staff to ensure academic excellence and continuous improvement.
Personnel Administration: Assisting in the recruitment, selection, evaluation, and retention of highly effective faculty and staff. The Assistant Superintendent will foster a positive and collaborative professional environment that attracts and supports top talent.
District Operations and Finance: Contributing to the development and management of the district's budget, ensuring the effective allocation of resources to support educational goals. The role will also involve overseeing various operational aspects of the district.
Student Services: Championing a comprehensive system of support for all students, including the oversight of special education programs, counseling services, and student wellness initiatives.
Community and Stakeholder Engagement: Serving as a key liaison between the school district, parents, community members, and the Board of Education. The Assistant Superintendent will be expected to foster strong, transparent communication and build positive relationships with all stakeholders.
Strategic Leadership: Assisting the Superintendent in the development and execution of the district's strategic plan, policies, and initiatives. The successful candidate will act on behalf of the Superintendent in their absence and represent the district at local, state, and national levels.
