Professional Goals: Assists with the sustainment and growth of CCOSA membership Supports CCOSA Professional Development Activities Demonstrates professionalism with co-workers and members General Responsibilities: 1. Assists with office reception, mail and answering phones. 2. Assists with the management, monitoring and analysis of assigned CCOSA Partner Association members and membership data that includes, but is not limited to Association membership demographics and historical records. 3. Verifies membership data and payments within CCOSA system on a timely basis, and under the direction of the Executive Director, follows up with non-renewed members, and assists with recruiting new members. 4. Supports the assigned CCOSA Partner Association as the record keeper (correspondence, files, minutes, budgets, travel planning, registrations, membership lists, agendas, proofing publications), and serves as the custodian of its Constitution and By-laws, officer and elections information, scholarship information, award information, professional development information, etc. 5. Assists with professional development activities, assigned Association conferences and Association meetings that include set-up and tear-down for activities, program preparation, catering orders, registration monitoring, invoicing and posting of payments, and reporting. 6. Maintains Association website for accuracy and for current events. 7. Provides exceptional customer service for members, guests and CCOSA employees. 8. Maintains a pleasant and respectful work environment conducive to productivity. 9. Collaborates as a team player with other CCOSA staff to deliver quality programs and services. 10. Meets deadlines consistently. 11. Participates in at least one professional learning opportunity a year to improve relevant skills.
Specific Responsibilities (not limited to this list, but assigned by CCOSA Executive Director in collaboration with Association Executive Director as appropriate): 1. Handles Teacher/Leader Evaluation (TLE) 2. Handles Mutual Benevolence Plan (MBP) 3. Handles District Level Services Programs—legal and financial 4. Holds specific association(s) assignment 5. Handles membership payroll deductions 6. Provides Business Office assistance
Physical Demands: Physical stamina sufficient to stand during entire event timeframe, excluding rest breaks. Ability to lift, carry and position items weighing in excess of 40 pounds. Ability, on a consistent basis, to communicate effectively with prospective members, members, partners, stakeholders and staff. Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time. Ability, on a consistent basis, to work with a computer, screen and keyboard for extended periods of time. Ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a high stress environment.
