| Description | Antlers Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Football Coach for the 2026–2027 school year. This position will serve as Defensive Coordinator for the high school program and assist with junior high football. Responsibilities include defensive game planning, practice organization, player development, and supervision of student-athletes. The teaching field is open. Competitive stipend offered. CDL and Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries certification are required or must be obtained. Alternative certification guidance available. |
| Required Qualifications | Valid Oklahoma teaching certificate or willingness to pursue alternative certification Must have or be willing to obtain a CDL Must have or be willing to obtain Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries certification Ability to work collaboratively within a coaching staff and school environment Commitment to supporting student-athletes on and off the field |
| Preferred Qualifications | Previous football coaching experience at the high school or middle school level Strong knowledge of offensive or defensive position groups Teaching and classroom experience CDL and Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries certification already obtained Ability to assist with other athletic duties as needed |
